Couple's argument leads to diversion of Lufthansa flight at IGI
An argument between a couple, a German man and his Thai wife, led to the diversion of a Munich-Bangkok Lufthansa flight to Delhi. The flight landed at the Indira Gandhi International airport after the pilots informed ATC about the unruly passenger situation. The German man threw food, tried to burn a blanket, and shouted at his wife. The pilot diverted the flight, and the man was offloaded by CISF personnel. The wife, traveling on a different ticket, wanted to continue her journey.
